Ana Sekularac est une créatrice britannique ayant fait ses études au sein du prestigieux Instituto Marangoni à Milan où elle a obtenu un master en création de mode. Elle a ensuite lancé sa propre marque en 2007 durant la semaine de la mode londonienne en mettant l’accent sur son esthétique et sa philosophie personnelle. Chacune de ses collections débute par la construction d’une pièce individuelle s’inspirant de silhouettes géométriques et architecturales tout en gardant à l’esprit les spécificités du corps féminin. Ses sources d’inspiration proviennent surtout de l’architecture puisque la créatrice se plaît à citer les œuvres de Franck Gehry ou encore Zaha Hadid.

Ana Sekularac is a British born designer who graduated from the prestigious Instituto Marangoni in Milan with a first class masters in Fashion Styling. Then, in 2007, she launched her own brand during the London Fashion Week putting the stress on her personal aesthetic and philosophy in her show. Each of her collection started from the construction of individual garment using architectural and geometrical silhouettes while bearing in mind the female body. Her sources of inspiration are mainly coming from the architecture give that the designer likes to refer to Frank Gehry or Zaha Hadid masterpieces.

La collection rend hommage à la contradiction entre, d’une part, la grace et la vulnérabilité de toute femme et, d’autre part, son énergie et sa force. Ana Sekuralac s’est inspirée d’un ballet où chaque pas est méticuleusement chorégraphié et réalisé sans qu’aucun effort ne transparaisse. La palette des couleurs se compose de duos rouge/noir, noir/rose et de blanc.

The collection pays homage to the contradiction between the inherent grace and vulnerability of a woman and her energy and strength. Ana Sekularac draws inspiration from a ballet in which each step is meticulously choregraphied and done without any effort showing. The colour palette is made of duos red/black, black/pink, vibrant pink and white.
